About Our Instructor
JULIE PETRI ORISCHAK (Jules Paints) is a decorative painter/artist since 1981. One of her first classes in decorative painting was in Texas taught by one of her best friends. She joined the local Chapter for the Society of Decorative Painters in Houston (Pride of Texas Decorative Artists) and was a member for several years, teaching workshops and serving as President for two years. She has always been passionate about painting flowers, butterflies, dragonflies and animals. In addition to painting, she joined a beading group that met once a week and designed and made bracelets, earrings, and necklaces as a relaxing hobby. She moved back to Pennsylvania in 2014 and continues her beading, painting, and pyrography. Happy Beading and Painting!

About Our Instructor
In April of 2013, she was accepted as a resident artist at the Banana Factory. Being a resident artist has allowed her to focus on her artwork, teach classes, and get more involved in the artist community in the Lehigh Valley. She plans to continue creating and experiencing all she can in the area of fiber arts, while teaching classes in various types of felt making within the community.
